September 2012 - The Paralympics has been amazing over the past few weeks. However, we are proud to say we have an x paralympic in our group.

Below Tracy Lewis in her racing chair. Tracy has achieved so much throughout her racing career.  A silver medal in the 100 metres relay at Barcelona paralympics in 1992 and a bronze medal in the 100 metres at Berlin world championships in 1994. Tracy is an inspiration to us all.

 Race for Life summer 2010

Leanne, Marie, Nicki and Susan completed the Race for Life charity run on the hottest day of the year in June, well done ladies, a great achievement.

Parbold Hill 10k cross country run February 2010

Parbold hill Saturday 13th February. It was the 40th anniversary of the Parbold hill race today and what a day it was. I left the house early to register and got there in plenty of time, too early in fact.

I sat in the Falmers arms and had a lovely bowl of soup, packet of crisps and a crusty roll. Not a good idea before a 7 mile run. Yes the run was how I had remembered it, lots of hills, stiles to climb over and muddy trails. I was really happy with my time and will definitely be returning next year, hopefully with some of our lady runners.

Message from Kate Williamson

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you all for sponsoring me in the Paris marathon, it was incredibly generous of you!

I finished in 4 hours 33 which I'm so pleased with, it was a tough run, particularly the last 6 miles, but nevertheless I made it through. It was an incredible experience. I've attached a couple of pics, and as you'll see from the pictures there was an incredible crowd, with just under 40,000 runners entered!
